EuroWool WW Wall panel
with stone wool
EuroWool WW stone wool roofing panels of EUROPAN S.A. are composite, self-supporting structural elements, specially designed for wall coverings or construction of fire-resistant facilities in various sites. They are fireproof structural elements with a fire resistance indicator, certified by the Fire Department. The panels can also be used in many other applications such as shelters, parking lots, sports facilities, residential buildings, prefabricated houses, to name a few.
They are made of two lightly formed metal sheets and an intermediate insulating core of stone wool.

Natural Characteristics
Rock wool was discovered in Hawaii at the beginning of the century and was obtained from the process of re-hardening molten lava, which is released into the air during volcanic eruptions in the form of fibers.
Therefore, it is a completely natural product that combines the strength of the stone with the insulating properties of wool.
Apart from the fact that it is a completely natural product with high thermal insulation capacity, stone wool is also an excellent soundproofing material, thanks to its open cellular structure. This is the only material that manages to combine five key characteristics.
Insolation
The presence of countless cells in the structure of the stone wool allows the product to prevent the passage of heat and cold and thus provides strong insulating results.
Sound insulation
The open cellular structure of the stone wool favors the absorption of sound waves and allows to reduce the intensity and propagation of sound.
Excellent fire behavior
Rock wool is mainly an inorganic material that melts at temperatures above 1000°C. Therefore, it does not contribute to the spread of fire, as well as to the emissions of toxic gases.
Water resistance
Due to its specific structure, stone wool does not absorb water or moisture, thus keeping its characteristics unchanged over time.
Spatial stability
Rock wool retains its characteristics over time without changes in size or performance, regardless of changes in thermal and hygrometric environment. Linear coefficient of thermal expansion of stone wool: 2×10-6C-1.

PVC coating technical data
Most food storage and processing facilities require the use of PVC roof panels. PVC is available in two colors (RAL9002 and RAL9010) and with a thickness of 120mic. Both colors are certified and suitable for use in food storage and processing applications according to all European standards and regulations.
