EuroRoof RW Roof Panel with mineral wool
ΕuroRoof RW roof panels with stone wool by Europan S.A. are composite, self-supporting structural elements specially designed for roofing applications. They are fire-resistant structural elements with a fire-resistance rating and are certified by the fire safety authorities.
The panels can also be used in many other applications, such as shelters, parking areas, sports facilities, residential buildings, prefabricated houses, and many other types of structures.
They consist of two lightly profiled metal sheets and an intermediate insulating core made of stone wool.

Dimensions
| Width (effective): | 1000mm |
| Length (upon request): | 2000mm – 16000mm |
| Thickness: | 50 / 60 / 80 /100 / 120 / 150 / 200 |
The panels are mainly manufactured with two profiled galvanized and pre-painted metal sheets, but they can also be produced with stainless steel sheets, polyester sheets, and other materials. Available lengths range from 2.00 to 16.00 meters. For any special requests, please contact us.
The outer metal sheet of the stone wool panels is trapezoidal, with five ribs, each 40 mm high and spaced 250 mm apart. The inner metal sheet is lightly profiled with grooves 1.5 mm deep. These panels are recommended for use on roofs with a slope greater than 7%.
For slopes below 7%, consultation with our company’s technical team is required.
Stone wool roof panels can be combined with special polycarbonate sheets, which are easily integrated into the production process and provide natural light to the covered area, significantly contributing to energy savings.

Physical Characteristics
Stone wool was discovered in Hawaii at the beginning of the century and is obtained through the re-solidification process of molten lava, which is ejected into the air during volcanic eruptions in the form of fibers. Therefore, it is a completely natural product that combines the strength of stone with the insulating properties of wool. In addition to being a completely natural product with high thermal insulation performance, stone wool is also an excellent sound-insulating material, thanks to its open-cell structure. It is the only material that successfully combines five key characteristics.Insulation
The presence of countless cells in the structure of stone wool enables the product to prevent the transfer of heat and cold, thus ensuring strong insulation performance.Sound Insulation
The open-cell structure of stone wool promotes the absorption of sound waves and helps reduce the intensity and propagation of sound.Excellent Fire Performance
Stone wool is mainly an inorganic material that melts at temperatures above 1000°C. Therefore, it does not contribute to the spread of fire or to the emission of toxic gases.Water Resistance
Due to its specific structure, stone wool does not absorb water or moisture, thereby maintaining its characteristics unchanged over time.Dimensional Stability
Stone wool maintains its characteristics over time without changes in size or performance, regardless of changes in the thermal and hygrometric environment. Linear coefficient of thermal expansion of stone wool: 2 × 10⁻⁶ °C⁻¹Technical Data

PVC Coating Specifications
In most food storage and processing facilities, the use of PVC roof panels is required. PVC is available in two colors, RAL 9002 and RAL 9010, with a thickness of 120 mic.
Both colors are certified and suitable for use in food storage and processing applications, in accordance with all European standards and regulations.
For special paints or coatings such as PVDF and HD, please contact us.
At the customer’s request, and following consultation regarding minimum quantities and possible delivery times, Eurowool RW stone wool roof panels can also be manufactured with sheets of different hardness, thickness, and type, such as PVC, stainless steel, as well as with various coatings depending on the specific requirements of the project.
